College Connections

College Connections is a program to help our college students
stay connected to Prince of Peace while they are away at school.

Students register each summer by providing their campus address.
Registration forms are available in the Church Office or you
can print one after clicking on this link:
College Connections Form

All new and returning students should fill out a form and
send in a current picture for our display board. 

Prince of Peace members act as Partners by donating supplies
two times a year. Each student receives  “Care Packages” 
from Prince of Peace. The packages are filled with treats and school
supplies and are packed by the College Connection Partners.

Our next packing day will be in the Spring.

Movie Watchers
The Movie Watchers Group is a monthly gathering of people who
attend a movie together at a local theatre and then meet afterward
at a restaurant for food, discussion and fellowship.

We meet on the first Friday of every month – about 7:00 pm.
The movie title is selected just a few days before our gathering,
so call the church office for details - or check back at this site.

Congregational Care

Exceptional Parents and Friends
We welcome all parents, caregivers, therapists, family members
and friends of children with differences in learning and/or
development. We are a support and prayer group for parents
going through challenging times, and we share resources
and ideas that can help our children be successful in school
and in life. Exceptional Parents and Friends meets on the
first Sunday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm. We encourage
you to come anytime between 6:00 and 8:00pm as not 
everyone can make a 6:00 pm start time.

Outreach

DivorceCare
DivorceCare is a world-wide Christian video and discussion based 
program for those thinking of ending or who have ended a long term
relationship - most typically a marriage. 

These classes are appropriate for men and women together, are strictly
confidential and will help you immeasurably as you wade through
such areas as loneliness, financial insecurity, child care and many
other areas. Each week deals with a different topic.

Dublin Food Pantry
Help us support the Dublin Food Pantry by providing these
items: rice, oatmeal, boxed potatoe dishes, pancake mix, pancake
syrup, gallon and quart-size freezer bags, empty banana boxes.
Please place your donations in the white pantry located in the
Fellowship Hall.


Environmental Stewardship Group 
Help us promote ways 
to care for God's creation and
to live a more green lifestyle.
Meetings held as needed.

Faith Mission: Summer Christmas Project
Help us provide much needed supplies to comfort people
who are sheltered at Faith Mission. We collect clothing,
toiletries and household items.
Our next drive begins in July.
Please see the display in the Fellowship Hall.


Military Personnel and Family Support Group
Help us send packages filled with goodies and needed items
to military personnel deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Please stop by the table in the Fellowship Hall to see
photos of our soldiers and the details for how you can help!
We would appreciate your donations of:
disinfecting wipes, baby wipes, lotion, hand sanitizer, foot powder
deodorant, first aid creme, travel tissues, snacks and money
for postage! Thank you.


Needlework Ministry
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month to knit/crochet
prayer shawls and "chemo caps" to be given to those in need.
As we work on our shawls and caps, we pray for the receiver to
to be healed and comforted. Please join us for this wonderful ministry.
If you cannot knit or crochet, we can teach you! The patterns are 
easy to learn - and the shawls and caps are greatly appreciated.
