OBITUARY
Cathy Elaine Cavanaugh
March 15, 1951– February 5, 2026
Cathy Elaine Cavanaugh (Cordle), born March 15, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2026, at the age of 74.
A lifetime seeker of knowledge, beauty and inspiration in all things great and small, Cathy loved family, the warmth of the sunshine, peaceful beachfront sunsets, a good book, birds singing, and hunting for shells, sea glass, acorns, and all of God's little treasures; always alongside her best friend and husband of 52 years, Michael Cavanaugh. Above all, Cathy was a loving wife, Mom, Gram, sister and servant of the Lord; committed to caring for all of those around her, and sharing her twinkle with all, in her own special way.
Cathy will be lovingly remembered by Michael, her daughters Lisa Seidensticker (Luke) and Sarah Cavanaugh; her grandsons, Ryan, Matthew, and Eric Seidensticker; and her siblings Mark Cordle (Susan), Leslie Brodnik, and Dean Cordle (Sherri). She was preceded in death by her parents, James G. Cordle and Marilyn Jane Cordle (Baker).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, officiated by Pastor John Morris at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (http://princeofpeacedublin.org) 5475 Brand Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43017.
