Harold C. Gandre

1951 - 2024

Harold C. Gandre, age 72 of Plain City Ohio, died suddenly at his home on April 6, 2024. He will be remembered by his beloved wife of 48 years, Evelyn; son, Ryan (Beth) Gandre of Clarendon Hills, Illinois; daughter, Nicole Gilbert of Powell, Ohio; brother Jerry (Sharon) Gandre of Austin, Texas; Colette Gandre of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and three grandchildren, Lexi, Olivia and Emmy–all of whom he loved dearly.

Harry was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout with a degree in engineering. He enjoyed woodworking, helping others and volunteering for many organizations, including Hopewell Lutheran Camp, Rides for Refugees and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he served as property chair for many years and a member of the Church Council.

Funeral services will take place at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (5475 Brand Road in Dublin, Ohio) on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church as well as an hour before the worship service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a favorite charity in honor of Harry’s life.
